There’s no avoiding the impact of climate change and at Dodson and Horrell they are taking great strides towards reducing their carbon footprint. Last year they recycled 378 tonnes of material which saved 500 tonnes of carbon dioxide and in addition to our recycling, they run our machinery efficiently and selectively, they dispose of waste to avoid air and water course pollution, they only light our facilities as necessary and they are using e-communication more and more to send out information. They became the first animal feed manufacturer to be awarded ISO 14001 accreditation, an internationally accepted environmental standard, which is a demonstrable proof of our efforts
